Robert W. Musante

Robert W. Musante, age 66 of Monroe, beloved husband of Karen J. Musante, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital. Robert was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Frank A. and Katherine M. Musante, and was a forty one year resident of Monroe. He was the owner-operator of Bob Musante's Canvas Service Inc. He was a devoted husband, adored his children and grandchildren, had a love for ice cream, boating and fishing, was an avid antique car enthusiast, and was the ultimate Mr. Fix-it. Bob had fun no matter where he went and was always looking for a good laugh. Survivors in addition to his wife include his children Robert A. Musante and wife Kelly of Charlotte, NC, Christy A. Davis and husband Seth of Monroe, and Patrick T. Musante of Monroe, two grandchildren Robert ‘Jackson’ and Ellis Musante, brothers Charles J. Musante and wife Fran, Joseph A. Musante, sisters Mary E. La and husband Robert, Kathleen A. Murray and husband Dan, Margaret H. Armitage and husband William, and Evelyn F. Musante and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Frank L. and James L. Musante. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Stephen’s Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 - 7:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
