I was saddened by the news my mother called me with this morning and that was to tell me that "Uncle Vinny had passed away". My heart sank and I immediately wondered how Aunt Joan was and of course my cousins Margaret, Tom and Bob. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family and express how sorry I am for your loss. I had a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for Uncle Vin--he was a very honorable, respectable and good man and I know he will be missed. I can only hope that that he and my own father are reunited in heaven along with their parents for all of eternity. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Joan and Vinny were like second parents to me when I was growing up. It is so sad to hear of his passing. Vinny always had a smile and a kind word to say.
