Emily Lou Cassidy Semonick, age 84 of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Thomas Semonick, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Lord Chamberlain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Emily was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late James and Verna Kaiser Cassidy and was a lifelong Trumbull-Fairfield resident before moving to Stratford. She retired as an Insurance Processor for the office of Cooper, Burd, and Sacks, MD. Survivors include her devoted children; Kevin L. McQuade and wife Denise of Shelton, Kerry J, McQuade and wife Lisa of San Diego, CA, Brian T. McQuade and wife Justine of San Diego, CA, Sean P. McQuade and partner Louise of East Lyme, Ellen B. Smith and husband David of Orange, and Lauren P. Kennedy and husband Terry of Mission Viejo, CA, twelve grandchildren; Ryan, Connor, Rachel, Aaron, Ashley, Amanda, Kelly, Corey, Dillon, Christopher, Dylan, and Alexandra, and one great grandson Jax. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30a.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
