May God bless your soul, Bob! There is honor in a life well lived and hope in knowing that love lives on forever. You were an honorable man and a great father who will always live in the hearts of his loved ones. You were a very smart, talented, kind, and quiet man who was always there for his family. You will be greatly missed. I remember your love of music which was passed down to and is now evident in your children and grandchildren. A fond recollection I have is that of a night of .music my husband, Charlie, snd I enjoyed with you and Peg and your friends at your home. We all sang songs together and played rudimentary musical instruments such as washboards, blocks of wood. shakers, a washtub with twine and a stick, etc. You led us with a harmonica, and it made me want to learn how to play one. That was a wonderful fun filled evening that I will always remember. Now, I'm thinking of your famy, the life you all shared, the joy of your time together, and the love that connected all of you. May beautiful memories help to ease your family's sorrow and lead the way to peace for all of them. I came across a piece of prose that I thought might be somrthing that you would have wished, Bob. I don't know who wrote this, but it goes: "I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one." "I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done." "I'd like to leave an echo whispering soft down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days." I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when the day is done." My dear family, I am so sorry for your loss. You have my love and deepest sympathy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all and give you comfort and peace. Love, Arline
