Whilst doing my family history on the Knowsley family from Yorkshire, England, I came across William's name and realized that he was my 3rd cousin 2 times removed. So sad to find the connection after he passed. Reading his obit it is clear he has a loving family who will miss him greatly. Sending much love to all the family from Perth, Western Australia. xxxxx

Bill lived across the street from us at Holiday Point. He always had a smile!! I loved driving him home in his truck on Thursday nights! He will be missed!

William Murray or Wemo, as I knew him, was a large part of my childhood. His house in Trumbull was like my second home. Memories of ping pong games, playing with crabs as Wemo and my dad were cleaning bushels of scallops, teaching us woodworking skills, just to mention a few. I also have cherished summer memories of our families camping together on the lake. Every Friday we would load up and take our boats across the lake to the island. Those were fun carefree days! Wemo was always there with a big smile teaching us kids about boating, water skiing and camping. I will never forget his storytelling around the campfire, especially on our last night. The past years, when my dad, Otto, was up from Florida, we enjoyed our trips to the diner with Wemo and spent hours reminiscing. Our family will treasure Wemo's memories forever.
