Dear Sir, dear Madam,

I beg your pardon for addressing you this way which I know is quite odd. I am actually neither a friend nor a parent of Mr. Hoefelt, but I am researching for some time now the exciting life of Mrs Gudrun Kunig Van Brink (*1887, Trondheim) who was the grand-mother of Mr. Henry Hoefelt. In this context I also found some traces of the mother of Mr. Hoefelt. In my files, Gudrun Bergliot Van Brink appears as "Mrs Skeet", entering France in 1939 while coming back from Indonesia. I am asking you if, in some way or another, it is possible to get in touch with the family for more information about the grandmother which for some time lived in Monte-Carlo and then in Lyon and then was imprisoned by the Vichy-Administration in the French concentration camp of Rieucros/Mende and freed in May 1943. Maybe there are still letters or documents from these years (1930-1960).
